20180430: Native Dancers, San Juan de los Lagos

Took these photos a few weeks back, the dancers are on the upper plaza of the Basilica & tourists circle around.

It is sad to see a once proud people humbled by a invading religion & it’s tourists.

You can see that the decorations on their outfits have the church beliefs on them as well as the Native American symbols.
