20160918: Post Processing Lesson

Several years ago, I shot this photo of Yosemite’s Half Dome. This is the post-processing image.

I was later at a Freestyle Photographic Paper printing seminar and told it looked like a high resolution scanned negative. Ask for Eric if want someone who knows his stuff. He brings about 100 different photographic papers Printed with HIS images by HIM! Hollywood, California.

An old film photographer, I was thrilled to admit it was digital, 100% digital.

Below is the original camera image. Rather flat and undescriptive of the “rock” feel.

Post-Processing in the days of wet darkrooms meant enlargers, with filters, dodges, and burn hole sheets.

Digital is no different.

Photographer Make good photographs.

Creative shooting everyone
